Action For Nature is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit environmental organization located in San Francisco, California. It was founded to help teach and inspire children and teens to use their energy, optimism, and talent to improve the health of our planet and make the outdoors as beautiful as possible.

Through our International Young Eco-Hero Awards program we reward youth from around the world for environmental advocacy, environmental health, research or protection of the natural world. We also support this website, our book Acting for Nature, and other programs.
