Sharing CenterAmazing StoriesThailand NewsDuring the recently held CITES Convention in Bangkok, I participated in an initiative called "Kids for Forests". Together with a group of students from all around Thailand, I helped promote the preservation of the several endangered species found around the world today. This includes the Irrawaddy Dolphin and other treasures of nature. On behalf of the others, I was luckily chosen to somewhat "inaugurate" the convention to Thailand's own Minister of Natural Resources, and later was able to talk to the Prime Minister himself! A week later, we were found at a local park, wearing costumes and masks to help out with a parade promoting our intentions. We were found in the front page of a local newspaper which was quite nice. I made a lot of new friends and really enjoyed my time there while trying to act for nature. I'd recommend it to anyone any day :) Author age: 16.
